Visual Page content can include text, questions, choices, images and other elements that are displayed to the user, as seen in these Application samples.



Adding Page Elements

Each Visual Page must have a title and add at least one content element.

After you create a new page, you drag and drop elements from the list in the left panel onto the canvas at the center of the page.

Here's an example page after Short Text and Number elements have been added:

Whenever you drag an element from the left panel onto the canvas, its Element settings tab opens to the right of the Pagesettings tab, enabling you to edit the item's details.

When working on a page with multiple elements, you switch between them by clicking in the main canvas on the element that you want to edit.

The following table describes the components of the Page Editor screen once content has been added.

Item Area Description
1 Flow Name Displays the current Flow name and current editor view (i.e., Page Editor).
2 Content Elements Page elements are divided into categories and listed on the left side of the screen.
  • Input Questions - Basic elements for requesting and storing user input. For details refer to Input Questions.
  • Buttons - Elements providing additional functionality for the user during the Interaction Flow, for example navigation between pages. For details refer to Buttons.
  • Choices - Elements that require the user to choose a response from a selection of two or more predefined responses. For details refer to Choice Questions.
  • Visuals - Elements that do not require a user response. To present information to the user, use Paragraphs.
    To display a collection the user, use Collection Displays.
3 Page Map The center of the screen is the canvas for building your Interaction Flow for the current page. Drag and drop elements for your Flow from the list on the left to the page map.
4 Page Settings Tab The Page settings appear in the Page tab on the right side of the screen. For an explanation, refer to Creating a New Page.
5 Element Settings Tab The Element tab appears next to the Page tab on the right side of the screen when an element is added. The element settings differ for each different type of element (short text, multiline, Yes/No, etc).
6 Create/Discard Click Create Page to save the page. Click Discard Changes to cancel. When you save the page, the Flow draft is automatically saved.

Moving an Element
If you have more than one element on a page, you can easily adjust the order. Simply drag and drop the element into a new location.

Deleting an Element
To delete an element from the page, hover the mouse over the element and click the trash icon.
