An Interaction is a step-by-step visual representation of a workflow that is used by customers or customer service representatives. The Jacada Web Designer is a web application that enables designers to create, test and update workflow based Interactions.
Since using the Designer does not require any programming skills, business analysts, system integrators and other non-developers can easily use it to build required workflows. Interactions can be as complex as needed, and can use pre-defined rules, allocators, web service calls, and many other advanced elements.
During runtime, Interactions can be run in any of the following Interact application channels (according to license type):
- Agent Application: Designed for call center representatives, who use the workflows while interacting with customers.
- Mobile Web: Designed for customers accessing self service guided flows using their mobile devices.
- Web Self Service: Designed for customers accessing self service guided flows using a browser.
The Web Designer is delivered with sample Interactions to serve as a starting reference point for you to build your own Interactions. In addition, there are on-screen prompts and tooltips to help guide you as you design your flows.
