The Add function enables you to create additional Integration Points for the Web Designer. New points can be added using either the SOAP or REST protocol.

New Integration Points are automatically assigned a Draft status until they are reviewed and approved by an authorized administrator.

Although the specific procedures for adding a SOAP and a REST integration point vary somewhat, both types use a New Integration Point wizard, which guides you through the process step-by-step. The progress bar at the top of the page indicates the current step of the process with a black frame. Completed steps are shown in green tabs, and future steps are shown in gray tabs. Settings that have been configured in previous steps are listed in gray at the top of wizard pages, allowing you to easily review the process. You can change these settings at any time by clicking Back to navigate to the relevant page.

Note: An Integration Point for the Natural Language Processing (NLP) engine is added automatically to the Integration Points list when NLP capabilities are enabled in the Admin console. The NLP Integration Point cannot be edited, but it can be tested and its logs can be viewed. Output parameters for the NLP Integration Point are stored in the variable NLPEntities, which also is created automatically when NLP is enabled. The variable can be viewed in the Custom Types list.
