You use the Details panel to edit or update settings for a Mobile Web application.

Details Tab


Details panel settings are described in the following table:

Setting Description
Application Name The name of the application.
Description A brief description of the application.
Channel Type The channel that will be used to run the application.
Application Key An identifier that is defined in the Jacada Interact Admin Console and embedded in the user's mobile application. The application key is generated automatically when an application is added.
Full URL The full URL path to the list of Flows available for this application channel.
Active Indicates whether the application is currently active. The application key of an inactive application is disabled, and users are unable to access Flows.
Internal Timeout The period of time (in seconds) during which the client can send requests without the need for revalidation of the access token by the authorization server.
User Authorization Endpoint The full URL path to the Login page for the authorization server. For more information about the OAuth2 authentication process used by Interact, click here.
Token Endpoint The full URL path to the authorization server (used to obtain an access token).
Token Validation Endpoint The full URL path to the authorization server used to verify the validity of an existing access token. This setting is not mandatory.
Security Fallback Interaction The name of the Flow that is presented to the user in the event that the user does not authorize the Interaction Server to access the authorization server.
Redirect URL The location to which to return after the access token is granted.
Client ID These parameters are those provided by the 3rd party authorization server, at the time of client registration.
Client Secret These parameters are those provided by the 3rd party authorization server, at the time of client registration.
Client Authentication Scheme Query Parameters or Header Parameters. This value is provided by the 3rd party authorization server, at the time of client registration.
Authentication Scheme Query Parameters, Form Parameters or Header Parameters. This value is provided by the 3rd party authorization server, at the time of client registration.
Scope The set or types of data that may be retrieved by the access token.
Grant Type Authorization Code is supported.
Token Name The access token name used by the authorization server. To use the default value (access_token), leave this parameter blank.
Session Timeout (in minutes) The period of time for which an idle Flow (not being navigated by the user) is still considered active. After the Session Timeout is reached, the Flow is considered abandoned, and if the user attempts to continue it, an error message is displayed.
The default Session Timeout value is 30
Client Settings Tab

This tab displays settings that define the default presentation, layout, and functionality of the application. For more information, see Client Settings for Applications.

Connectivity Settings Tab

This tab enables configuration of the following various customer connectivity service options, including Call Now, Chat, Call Return and Send Email. For more information, see Connectivity Settings for Applications.

Index.html Tab

This tab enables you to customize the UI display for the application. For more information, see Customizing the UI for an Application.

Editing Mobile Web Settings

  1. From the Applications page, in the row of the relevant Mobile Web application, click the Application Name link.
    The Application Details page opens, with the Details tab displayed by default.
  2. At the right upper corner of the page, click Edit.
    The fields become editable.
  3. Update settings in the Details tab, as required.
    Note: For details on changing the application key, refer to Regenerating the Application Key.
    Multi Environment accounts may regenerate the application key from the PROD environment only.
  4. Update settings in the Client Settings tab, as required. For more information, click here.
  5. Update settings in the Connectivity Settings tab, as required. For more information, click here.
  6. To customize how UI components appear to a customer (for example, to change the application Title, headers and footers, or add custom Javascript code) edit the index.html tab settings. For more information, click here.
  7. At the top right corner of the page, click Save. A confirmation message is displayed, and the Applications page opens.
