A {Newline} annotation inserts a line break following a text. This annotation is helpful when it is necessary to present several sentences to the user. The following example shows how to map longer text. The Voice prompt is:

Welcome to the Banking Application. Please select from the following options.

After mapping, the annotations are:

{Title} Welcome to the Banking Application. {Newline} Please select
from the following options

The figure below shows how this {Newline} annotation is displayed in a VIVR VXML Connector page:

When a prompt involves variables that are generated by the IVR (i.e., not hard coded values), it is recommended to place a {Newline} annotation at the beginning of the sentence.

The following example shows how to properly map a prompt using a {Newline} annotation. The Voice prompt is:

Your account balance is twenty seven dollars and thirty cents.

After mapping, the annotations are:

{Newline} {Title} Your account balance is {Space} twenty seven dollars and thirty cents.
