Major release features and capabilities include:

◼ Enhancements to the Intelligent Assistant

We've made some changes to our Intelligent Assistant (IA), simplifying its workflow and making it work smarter for you and your users.

Jacada's IA provides complete, code-free fulfillment for today's Natural Language Processing (NLP) engines, enabling you to support real-time user chats and conversation-based transactions. With the IA, you can seamlessly integrate the latest Interact features together with the accumulated intelligence of your NLP engine to offer powerful client-side chatbot capabilities.

Note: The Intelligent Assistant currently supports the DialogFlow (formerly API.AI) NLP engine. Support for additional NLP engines is also in development.

With this release, the IA introduces Intent Flows that transparently integrate chatbot input with all of the powerful features of Interact – multiple flows, rules-based decisions, events handling, integration with external data sources, and more.

For more details on getting started with the IA, see Enabling and Viewing the Intelligent Assistant.

◼ Enhancements to Collection Methods

We've added several new capabilities that you can use when working with a Collection:

  • An Allocator can now assign a complete Collection or a specified variable in a Collection, For this purpose we'd added the new operators AddAll, Clear, Equals.
  • Decision Points and Rules can now examine specific elements in Collections (basic or Enum types) using the operator Contains.

For more details, see Allocating Values to Variables and Decision Points Control Workflow Using Logic Conditions.
